Crisis & Urgent Presentations

Please note we are not a crisis service. Patients experiencing acute risk of harm to self or others, or severe psychiatric emergency, should be directed to Gold Coast Health Crisis Services or the nearest Emergency Department.

Collaborative Care & Collaborative Communication

We prioritize clear and consistent communication with our referring health professionals. Our collaborative approach ensures that you are kept informed at key clinical intervals, including comprehensive assessment letters and review reports at the completion of your patient's mental health care plan cycles.

We are dedicated to trauma-informed care and respect patient confidentiality while fostering shared clinical understanding. If our service is not the most appropriate fit for a presentation, we will notify you promptly and, where possible, suggest alternative pathways. We strive to maintain manageable wait times to ensure your patients receive timely and professional support when they need it most.

Discuss a Referral

We welcome the opportunity to collaborate with fellow health professionals. If you have a complex presentation or wish to discuss the suitability of a patient before referring, please don't hesitate to reach out for a confidential discussion.
